DEAR PARTNERS,
"O God beyond all praising, we worship you today and sing the love amazing that songs cannot repay; for we can only wonder at ev’ry gift you send, at blessings without number and mercies without end: we lift our hearts before you and wait upon your word, we honor and adore you, our great and mighty Lord. Then hear, O Gracious Savior, accept the love we bring, that we who know your favor may serve you as our King; and whether our tomorrows be filled with good or ill, we’ll triumph through our sorrows and rise to bless you still…" O God Beyond All Praising, ELW # 880
The month of November is full and rich with special worship and events giving us opportunities to remember and give thanks for all our blessings, especially for the saints who have gone before us, and the abundant life God gives through Jesus Christ, our Lord. At the end of November, we celebrate Christ who is King and reigns with love, very different from human rulers, and we usher in a new Church Year with the beginning of Advent. All are invited to join in remembrance, giving thanks and celebrating. We are united, whether we gather in-person or through digital means. The following are highlights of the month. You may see Tidings, our newsletter for more information. That can be found under the Resources section of the website.
November 7: All Saints Sunday – in worship, we remember by name members and loved ones who have died in the last year; all are invited to light a candle in memory of loved ones who have died at any time.
