Everyday Generosity

Giving at Grace

We encourage all of those who are part of our congregation to give—not out of obligation but out of a spirit of worship in response to God’s gracious generosity. Your gifts allow God's work to be done in our midst, in our community, and in the world around us. Below you will find information about the many ways to give resources, time and talents to enable us to grow in partnership with God in mission.  One of the ways you can help the church with planning is by pledging.  Please click the "Mail" button below and request a pledge card from the church office.

Celebrating God’s Abundance

This is an exciting time to be a member and supporter of Grace. Our membership and ministry programs continue to grow and at the same time we are undertaking a major renovation to our aging facilities. Truly we have much to celebrate and none of this would be possible without your generous gifts of time, talent and treasure. Our sub-theme of “Making a Difference—Today and Tomorrow” reflects the energy of our growing ministries and future planning.

Throughout October you will hear more about Grace’s growing ministries and you will also receive a request to state your financial giving intentions in 2025.  Thank you for your continued generosity which makes everything we do at Grace possible.

Living Generously

From early on we learn to share and that’s a good thing. As we grow from reluctance, perhaps in sharing a toy with a playmate, to see the benefits of sharing, we grow in understanding of what it means to be part of something much greater than self. Ultimately, we discover giving is an act of community building and a way of multiplying abilities, that is, doing far more together than we can alone.

Through weekly offerings and other forms of giving —including acts of kindness, volunteer work, service projects that impact the lives of others, generosity flows and we, in the end, are fortunate to be engaged in ways that are far beyond one’s imagination.

Learning to share, to be generous, is life giving to those who receive.  But, more times than not, the one who gives finds greater joy in knowing she or he has made a difference.

For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

Matthew 6:21

Offering of Time and Abilities

God calls us to serve by sharing our time and unique abilities with the church and our wider community. Pastor and author, Frederick Buechner, has written that our vocation is “where our joy and the world’s need meets.” There are many opportunities at Grace to discover joy while using our gifts in service. On this website you will find links to joyful serving.
