Service & Outreach

There are many opportunities at Grace to serve our surrounding community.  Below are only a few of the organizations and programs we volunteer with and support:

• CCAP (Congregational Community Action Project)
  • We volunteer monthly at CCAP helping pack and organize donations.  Our annual Harvest Sunday also supports CCAP.
• Bright Futures
  • We collect items for Bright Futures along with volunteering when needed.
• Voucher Program at Grace
  • Grace gives out gas and grocery vouchers to those in need on the first working day of the month.
• WATTS (Winchester Area Temporary Transitional Shelter)
  • Grace Lutheran proudly hosts a week of WATTS each season.  There are many opportunities to help with this ministry: host a meal, set up, clean up, morning coffee host, snack donations, toiletry/clothes donations, and more!
• Highland Food Pantry Group
  • This is a service-oriented group meeting once a month on the third Tuesday at Highland Food Pantry to help distribute food. They also meet on the fifth Tuesday, if there is one in the month.
